Who we are

Founded in 2019, Inventive Designs began its story in the field of product development, specialising in temperature control systems for both consumer and commercial applications.

A problem well-defined is a problem half-solved.

With a passion for understanding how and why things work, the company grew from a foundation of meticulous research, development, and engineering expertise, encompassing everything from housing design to control systems and PCBs.

Inspired by the legacy of the founder’s father—a seasoned fabricator with over three decades of experience in pressure equipment, ASME IX 6G welding, live gas welding to 2885, machining, diagnostic engineering, and general fabrication—Inventive Designs quickly expanded its scope.
What began as small to medium-sized projects for his fabrication business evolved into delivering innovative solutions for larger, more complex challenges. Our largest project to date was a full steam supply and condensate return rebuild working alongside two Italian OEMs to piece together a new mechanical system from design through to installation for an Australasian owned enterprise.
From bespoke walkways and platforms to full-scale production facilities, the company thrives on solving problems, no matter the scale. Today, Inventive Designs partners with globally recognised brands and leading New Zealand enterprises, providing sustainable and reliable solutions across the country, from Auckland to Christchurch and all regions in between.
